A less invasive treatment approach for bowel cancer could save over £1 billion

New research suggests that providing a break in treatment to patients with advanced bowel cancer could not only benefit a patient's quality of life but could also help save £1.2 billion for the National Health Service in England. Bowel Cancer UK is one of nine partners to collaborate on the study.
