My hubby was diagnosed with Stage 4 with liver Mets in March 2017. He had anterior resection in May followed by 6 months of Folfox from July. Unfortunately chemo caused pulmonary embolisms so was stopped after 8 cycles. MRI shortly after showed Mets to be barely visible. Another MRI 8 weeks later said they had disappeared.
Recent MRI on 6 August said they were barely visible again, not even sure they are cancer.
On Monday we had the best news. His CT done on 11 September showed no cancer anywhere else.
CEA is now 1.5
All this with no treatment for nearly 11 months we are over the moon.
Lots of love and best wishes to everyone.
