Research study exploring how people find meaning in living with cancer

A researcher at the University of Derby is conducting a study to better understand how people find meaning in living with cancer.

Existing research suggests that people who find meaning in their experience also find an increase in their emotional and psychospiritual wellbeing than those who struggle to find such meaning.

This also means that there may be unmet needs for help in meaning making by healthcare professionals. All this knowledge may inform in how to best support meaning making in cancer.

The study is looking for participants to take part in a one hour interview, exploring how people find meaning in living with cancer. The interview will take place via MS Teams at a time to suit you.
